Julia Key is a Senior Associate at Luminary Labs. She is passionate about seeing how the details of a problem impact the larger picture.

Before joining Luminary Labs, Julia was a consultant at Promontory Financial Group, an IBM company. She worked with large domestic and international financial institutions on strategic transformations, primarily focused on regulatory and enterprise risk management frameworks, strategic technical solutions, and data governance. Julia’s team also implemented a pilot program to integrate artificial intelligence into anti-money-laundering practices.

A New York native, Julia studied Art History and East Asian Studies at the University of Chicago with a focus on ancient Buddhist temples and contemporary performance art. Outside of work, Julia is a competitive weightlifter and brings her love of sport and strength to her community.
