Eden Baker is a Senior Associate at Luminary Labs. With a background in public policy, she is passionate about how research, technology, and cross-sector collaboration can help solve even the most thorny problems.
Before joining Luminary Labs, Eden worked as a consultant in Melbourne with clients such as the Australian Red Cross, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Legal Services Commission. In this role, she led user research to inform the design of an employment program for refugees and oversaw the development of an online dispute resolution tool to help separating couples divide their assets. She has also held various policy roles in state and federal government departments across Australia.
Eden has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Communications from the University of Technology, Sydney, where she was the recipient of the Gareth Ivory Memorial Prize. She is currently completing her MBA in social impact remotely through the University of New South Wales.
When she’s not at work, she loves walking around the city, trying new cafes, and listening to podcasts (potentially all at once).
