About

Maeser Allen is a Senior Associate at Luminary Labs. A natural problem solver, he leverages his strong strategic thinking skills to bring stakeholders together to create innovative solutions. Maeser has robust experience getting up to speed on complex topic areas and has contributed to projects across all four focus areas at Luminary Labs. He has led key work streams for CTE Momentum, MagQuest, and the LymeX Diagnostics Prize.

Prior to joining the Luminary Labs team, Maeser provided critical administrative support to executives at the Global Impact Investing Network. As a graduate student, Maeser developed accessory dwelling unit policy recommendations for the City of Peoria, Arizona. As an AmeriCorps VISTA, Maeser ran a housing program for survivors of domestic violence in the Phoenix area and helped vulnerable populations access affordable housing resources.

Maeser has a master’s degree in urban and environmental planning from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Portuguese Studies from Brigham Young University. When not at work, he can be found with fellow cinephiles at the many independent film houses in New York City or studying public transit maps from around the world. Maeser speaks fluent Portuguese.
