As a Communications Analyst, Ilse builds captivating brands and robust communication strategies around client innovation projects. She is known for embracing ambiguity and helping teams map a path forward in moments of uncertainty.
Ilse started her career in a rotational program at L’Oréal, developing marketing campaigns and product innovations for several billion-dollar brands. In college she was president of her local Net Impact chapter, growing its presence on campus while exploring the intersection between doing good and doing business. Here, she discovered her passion for working on the problems that matter.
Ilse was born in the Netherlands and moved between there and Oregon four times before the age of 12. She brings a bit of both regions to New York: Rain or shine (or snow) she Citi Bikes everywhere, and prefers gardening and brewing kombucha over bar hopping. She recently joined a CSA and enjoys being part of her local community.
Ilse received a B.S. from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business with concentrations in Marketing and Statistics. Succulents are currently her favorite type of plants.
